By registering for the seminar hosted at the University of Hasselt, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Registration:

• Registration for the seminar is free of charge.

• The registration includes access to all seminar sessions, lunch, and coffee breaks.

• The seminar features distinguished speakers, which makes your attendance crucial.

2. Cancellation and No-Show Policy:

• If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us in writing at least 7 days prior to the event.

• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event or no-shows on the day of the seminar will be charged a fee of [€ 50] to cover the costs incurred.

• This policy is in place to ensure that we can accommodate all interested participants and manage resources effectively.

3. Substitution Policy:

• If you are unable to attend, you may send a substitute in your place at no additional charge. Please notify us of any substitutions in writing at least 7 days prior to the event.

4. Event Modifications:

• The organizers reserve the right to make necessary changes to the seminar schedule, including substitution of speakers and adjustments to the program. Such changes do not entitle participants to any compensation.

5. Liability:

• The University of Hasselt and the seminar organizers are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property during the seminar.

• Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements and costs.

6. Privacy and Data Protection:

• By registering, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information for the purposes of seminar administration and communication.

• Your information will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or necessary for the organization of the event.
